Quarles, Don,
82, of Fort Myers, FL died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on November 4, 2016.
He was born on July 30, 1934 to his late parents, Sam and Helen Quarles.
Don was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and a very proud US Air Force veteran. He was founder and president of data media, inc. He was a former member of Midland Trail and Persimmon Ridge Golf clubs in Louisville and and Palmetto Pine and Crown Colony Golf clubs in Florida. Because of Don's passion for golf, the family request you wear your golf attire or casual clothes to the visitation on Wednesday.
Don was predeceased by his sister Martha Bray (Tommy), brother Pat (Betty) and his lovely first wife Sue Ann Avery Quarles.
He is survived by his loving wife Teresa, daughters Karen Feingold (Jack), Kathy Lotze (Dave Weidekamp), sons Steve and Keith, seven grandchildren and soon to be seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bob (Nancy), sisters Elaine Monsour (Dave), Linda Wise (Steve), Diane Dick (Terry) and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Hope Hospice and our friends Nancy Anderson and Gwen Parker for their loving care in Dons final days. Teresa can never say how much she appreciates three angels on earth for their love and support for both of us-Stephanie Quarles, Kellie Quarles and Taylor Dykstra.
Visitation will be held Wednesday November 9, 2016 from noon to 8:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road. Don's life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
