LACONIA - Lynn Marie Martin, 58, of 25 Lyford Street, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the CRVNA Hospice House in Concord.
She was born on December 5, 1957 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Franklin W. and Ethelyn R. (Lord) Dore. Lynn worked at the former Laconia State School. She also worked as a waitress at a number of Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Connecticut and New Hampshire, most recently at the South Main Street, Laconia location. She enjoyed pet sitting, walks on the beach, flowers, bike riding and spending time with family and friends. She was known as a kind, giving person.
She is survived by her son, Owen Martin of Laconia, her beloved dog, Shamus Murphy and her former husband, Douglas Martin of Pittsfield. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant brother, Richard M. Dore.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 4Pm top 7PM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
Funeral services will be private.
