Laconia-----Emile Arthur Ricard 95, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Belknap County Nursing Home, with his loving family by his side.
Emile was born November 21, 1920 in Belmont, NH, son to the late David D. Sr. and Regina Jennie (Charest) Ricard. He worked for Bergen-Patterson as an assembler for over twenty years. Emile was a WWII veteran having served for the United States Army. He was also a member of the VFW Post 1670 in Laconia.
Emile loved dancing, especially with his wife and spending time with his family. He also was an active member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed working in the kitchen, helping with bingo and the annual Christmas Fair.
Emile is survived by his sister, Irene L. Labreque of Laconia; six nieces, Rachel Allen of Laconia, Rita Giguere of Bedford, Shirley Brison of Laconia, Priscilla Fecteau of Laconia, Marcella Albee of East Aurora, NY and Carmen Sanborn of Laconia; six nephews, Bobby Champagne, Henry Champagne, Maurice Fecteau, Gerard Fecteau and his wife Jenny, Ralph Fecteau and his wife, Doris all of Laconia and Arthur Fecteau and his wife, Sue of Tilton and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his wife Irene B. (Fecteau) Ricard; two brothers, David and Arthur Ricard; three sisters, Blanche Theberge, Mildred Champagne and Ida Roach; two nephews, Paul and Jean Fecteau and one niece, Monique Groux.
Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Whipple Avenue Entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, October, 26, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246.
