Obituary


HAVERHILL: Agueda Payano, 77, passed away peacefully in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 5, 1939 in Yamaza, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Florentino and Ramona (Hernandez) Payano.
Agueda worked as a machine operator for Hoyt Leather in Haverhill for several years. She was known for having a kind heart and cherished time with her family. Her generosity was shared with her community by helping others and through her devotion to service with the 2nd Spanish Church Assembly of God in Haverhill.
She is survived by her four children, Fernando Morel and wife, Santa, Victor Payano and wife, Maria, Maria Figuereo and husband, Jose and Juana Done and her husband, Nelson all of Haverhill; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Florentino and Bienvendo; two sisters, Diluvina and Petronila and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was also predeceased by her son, Freddy.
Calling hours will be Sunday October 23rd in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill from 4 – 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. followed by interment in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill
