Laconia-----Marguerite Olive Tarte, 93, passed away on Thursday, October, 20, 2016 at the Laconia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Marguerite was born on December 4, 1922 in Tilton, the daughter of William Archie and Mary Olive (Twombly) Rollins. She worked at Tilton Endless Belt from 1940-1946. Marguerite was a communicant of St. Joseph Church , Laconia.
Marguerite enjoyed gardening and fishing. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 sons, Carl Tarte of Center Harbor and Paul Tarte of Laconia; 4 daughters, Maxine Violette, of Belmont, Donna Robert, of Weathersifeld, VT, Martha Tuttle, of Concord, Lois Pinard, of Belmont; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, June Tilton, of Tilton and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Marguerite is predeceased by her husband, Harold Tarte in 1983, sons, William Tarte, Timothy Tarte and James Tarte, daughters, Margaret Gove and Kathleen Tarte, brothers, Charles Rollins, Merle Rollins, Robert Rollins, William Rollins, sisters, Edna Stiouphile, Effie Collins, Justine Gauthier and Joan Jones.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, October, 24, 2016 from 11:00am - 12:00 Noon at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 12:00 Noon also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will immediately follow at St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia NH.
