Jeanne E. Burke age 87 of Quincy passed away October 16th at the Royal Health Care of Norwell. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and Boston and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She worked in Customer Service for the President of New England Telephone for many years before retiring and was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers. Jeanne enjoyed Broadway Shows, movies, good restaurants and was a kind and generous person to everyone she met. Beloved sister of Robert B. Burke and his wife Virginia of Norwell, Barbara Crosby and her husband Arthur of Weymouth, and Edward Burke (deceased) and his wife Marie Burke of Burlington. Loving daughter of the late Edward J. and Anna M. Burke. Also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 17 grand nieces and nephews and her good friends Pat and John Gilmore of Braintree. Funeral mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Friday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday 4-7 pm. Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
