Carole L. (Pelosi) Madden of Malden, formerly of Everett passed away on October 15th, 2016 after a courageous struggle with pulmonary Fibrosis.
Carole was the owner for many years of Cozy Corner Beauty Shoppe in Maplewood Square, Malden where her talents as a hair stylist and warm personality created friendships that have lasted to today. Her distinctive voice and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on those she met whether vacationing in Florida, her summer home in Yarmouth or in traveling. Carole was a proud member of the Junior Aid Association of Malden. She will be sorely missed by all who shared her life. Special thanks to Doctor Akmal Sarwar of Lahey Clinic in Burlington for his kind and caring treatment of Carole.
Carole was the beloved and devoted companion of Edwin Lucey. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Evelyn Pelosi. Carole was the loving mother of Cheryl L. McMahon and her husband Derek of Pepperell and the late Robert N. Madden. She was the dear sister of the late Elizabeth Bucci and Patricia Pelosi. Carole was the cherished grandmother of Ciara, Colin, John, and Nicholas. She was a caring aunt to her nieces, nephews and their children.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday October 19th at 10:30a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
