Mrs. Elizabeth B. (Bent) Pontifex, 94, of Medford, passed away Friday in her home. Born in Somerville she had been an area resident all her life. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and trips to the casino, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Pontifex is pre-deceased by her son; Frank Pontifex Jr. of Malden, daughter; Diane Milligan and her husband Paul of Gilford, NH, Four brothers; Warren Campbell, Russell, John, and Ralph Bent. Four sisters; Eleanore James, Mary Bent, Beverly Daly, and Dorothy Griffin. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Frank R. Pontifex Sr. of Medford, one daughter; Karen and her husband Robert Scalisi of Medford, one daughter-in-law; Joan Pontifex of Malden, one brother Robert Bent and his wife Katherine of Rockland, MA There are 9 grandchildren, Micheal and Amy Milligan of Melrose MA., Kevin Milligan of Laconia, NH, Daniel Milligan of Laconia, NH, Steven Milligan of Laconia, NH, Erik Pontifex of Malden, MA, Heather And Ronnie Repoza of Hudson, NH, James and Jody Scalisi of North Andover, MA, Christopher and Kara Scalisi of Stoneham, MA, Lisa Scalisi of Stoneham, MA. 9 great-grandchildren, Joseph Scalisi, Sabrina Scalisi, Lilly Milligan, Kayley Milligan, Donovan Milligan, Ryder Repoza, Hayden Repoza, Kaitlin Scalisi, Ryan Scalisi and several nieces and nephews.
