Mary T. McDonald (Burton) age 65 of Bourne, formerly of Stoughton passed away September 16th at home surrounded by her loving family after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Boston, she graduated from Whitman Hanson High School, Class of 1969 and received her Associates Degree from Fisher College. She has lived in Bourne for the last 3 years and previously lived in Stoughton for 35 years. Mary worked for Jordan Marsh and Macy's in the cosmetics department and most recently in sales for Jordan’s Furniture before her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed golfing, the beach and vacationing in Naples, FL. Beloved wife of Michael J., mother of Michael W. McDonald and his wife Tamara of Winchester, Jennifer J.N. Picciano and her husband Robert of Medfield and Christie A. McDonald and her husband Ken Sigel of Hingham. Daughter of the late George and Eva Burton of Hanson, MA. Sister of Donna Unda and her husband Walter of Milford, NH, Cathy Wozniak and her husband Joe of Walpole, George Burton and his wife Marie of S. Boston and the late Richard Burton. Sister-in-law of Paul McDonald and his wife Joyce of Plymouth, Julie Ogg and her late husband Duncan of Canton and the Rev. Christopher Haydon of Waltham. Granny of Ella, Michael, Jack, Matthew, Sophie, Avery and Lucy. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton, Tuesday, 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
