Pauline S. Floyd, 93, of Lady Lake, FL, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 in the Waterman Hospital in Tavares, FL. Mrs. Floyd was born in Lancaster, NH on July 17, 1915, a daughter of the late Herbert E. and Stella (Kane) Schoff. She was a resident of Lady Lake for the past five years, formerly living in Derry, NH, Brentwood, NH and Andover, MA. Mrs. Floyd was a round dancing instructor, and she and her husband taught square dancing and line dancing to Seniors in Andover, MA and the Southern NH area.
She is survived by one son, James C. Floyd and his wife Anne of Lady Lake, FL (formerly of Lowell, MA); one daughter, Betty L. Ebner of Daytona, FL; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; as well as two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Floyd in 2001.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2 – 5pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover, MA.
