Obituary

Lawrence, MA- Robert J. LeBlanc Jr., 40, died peacefully, Thursday, January 13th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 5th, 1970 in Lawrence, Bob was the son of Robert and Carol (Laverriere) LeBlanc. A lifelong resident of Lawrence, Bob graduated from Lawrence High School with the class of ’88 and received a Bachelors of Science Degree from UMass Dartmouth.
Bob owned and operated Merrimack Promotions in Lawrence and took great pride in his work.
Bob enjoyed sports and playing ice and street hockey, as well as fresh water fishing and golfing. His biggest joy however, came from his sons whom he coached in little league baseball for South Lawrence West.
Bob will be deeply missed but always remembered in the hearts of his wife of 9 years, Eleanor J. Shallcross, his two beloved sons, Benjamin and Brody, parents, Robert and Carol (Laverriere) LeBlanc, and one sister Kerri and her husband Mark Durkee of Atkinson, NH and his grandfather George Laverriere of Salem, NH, as well 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was predeceased by his grandmother Adele Laverriere.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday, January 17th at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Polish National Cemetery in Methuen.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Bob’s name to the MG Cancer Center Development Office c/o Dr. Theodore Hong Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund 165 Cambridge St., Boston, MA 02114.
