SMITH, Theodis A., 71, of Teaneck, NJ died on Saturday, Oct. 23rd, at his home.
Mr. Smith was born in Durham, NC to the late Jasper and Thelma Smith. He was a 40-year resident of Teaneck and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and National Guard. He worked many years at Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, NJ. After retiring from Ford, Mr. Smith worked for Music Express Limousine Company and Tri State Design Construction Company.
Mr. Smith was predeceased by a sibling, Dr. William F. Smith. He is survived by his wife, Anita L. Smith (Davis); his children, Dr. Terri L. Smith, and Nicole M. Smith; his sibling, Jackie J. Smith; and his grandchildren; Chelsea L. Balkum, Troy C. Balkum, Kai A. Balkum, and Grant C. Smith.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30th, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Englewood, NJ. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29th, at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. The interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
