Manchester-Kenneth Thomas Dion, 48, of 189 Garden Drive, died Saturday evening, September 12, 2009 at Catholic Medical Center.
Kenneth was born on October 9, 1960 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of Jacqueline (Gaudette) “Jackie” Dion and the late George L. Dion who died in 2000. Ken was a resident of Manchester for over 15 years. He was a graduate of Nashua High School.
Kenneth was a CNC machinist for Powerwave Technologies, Inc. formerly known as Filtronics Inc., of Merrimack. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed music, computer games, movies and had a wonderful sense of humor and uplifting positive life attitude. Ken had a deep love and respect for his family and friends. Above all he loved the Lord.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Jacqueline (Gaudette) “Jackie” Dion of Laconia; his brother, William R. “Bill” Dion and his wife Kimberly of Austin, Minnesota; his sister, Linda L. Tikkanen and her husband Troy of Laconia; two nephews, Michael and Sean; three nieces, Sarah, Nicole, and Kelly.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 349 Meredith Center Road, Laconia, pastor Joel Nason officiating.
