Brother of John, and Arthur and the late Margaret and Henry Shaughnessy. Brother- in – Law of James Hurley, Robert and Helen (Oakes) Hughes, Patricia Oakes and the late Katherine (Oakes) Hurley and Walter Oakes. Loving Grandfather of eight. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday, September 2 at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) at 10:30 am. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Late U.S. Army Veteran, Korean War, and member of the Mission Hill American Legion Post #327.
