Obituary

Marie-Jeanne L. (Beausejour) Hutnak, 83, formerly of Johnston, died Thursday, July 23, 2009. She was the widow of Andrew Hutnak Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Augustine and Laura (Breault) Beausejour. She had been a resident of Johnston before moving to Smithfield in 2002.
She had worked at the former Howard Johnsons in Johnston, the former Lying in Hospital in Providence, the former Sharon Creations in Johnston and Taco Industries in Cranston. Before her illness she was a daily communicant and active in her parish, St. Thomas Church. Her faith and kindness were evident to anyone who met her. Her love for her family knew no bounds. She had a love for all of God’s creatures and nature in general. She was a crossword puzzler and jigsaw puzzle maker. But her family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her children Theresa Ryan of South Carolina, Rose Ashton and husband Robert of Smithfield, Catherine Vincent and her husband Paul of Bristol, Gigi Fobert and her husband Vincent of Charlestown, Joan Barden and her husband Michael of Smithfield, A. Francis Hutnak and his wife Linda of Pembroke, MA, Raymond Hutnak and his wife Eileen of Johnston, Thomas Hutnak and his wife Rosanne of Greenville, Gene Hutnak and his wife Linda of Johnston, James Hutnak of West Warwick, Gerry Hutnak and his partner Heather Waite of Rehoboth, MA, Jude Hutnak and his wife Anna of Arizona, and Anthony Hutnak and his wife Phyllis of Charlestown, 30 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters Cecile Nault of Florida, Rosemarie Fontaine of Smithfield, Rita Griffith of Arizona, and Agnes Rabczak of Alaska, her brother Richard Beausejour of New York, and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends.
Other than her husband, she is predeceased by an infant daughter, Marie Jeanne Hutnak, sisters Alma Laroche, Laurette Audet, and Bernadette Reed, brothers Gerard, Paul, and Robert Beausejour.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 28th at 9AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt. 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday, July 27th from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02909, Fruit Hill Adult Day Care, 399 Fruit Hill Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911, or Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 100 Borden Street, Providence, RI 02903.
