Eileen “Chickie” Blake, a life-long Medford resident died unexpectedly Friday after a life-long illness. She was 53.

Chickie was lovingly cared for by her devoted parents, Joseph and Eileen (Mirabello) Blake of Medford. She was a cherished sister to Michele Bordieri and her husband Anthony, Joseph Blake, Jr. and his wife Mary Rose, Maryjane Cangiano and her husband Dr. Albert all of Medford and John Blake and his wife Grace of Stoneham. She was a loving aunt to 19 nieces and nephews and the dear niece of Marguerite Soccorso and her late husband Pasquale, Ann and Joseph Cunningham, Carol Noel, Jane Ford-Simpson, Barbara Carol and her late husband Vincent.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 10AM followed by a Mass of the Angels celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
