Trumbull, CT – Rita B. (Billings) Lapierre, 92, formerly of Evers St. in Worcester entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 7, in St. Joseph’s Manor.
Her husband Omer W. Lapierre died in 1998. She is survived by a son William B. Lapierre of Cherry Hill, NJ; a daughter Marie A. Orrell of Monroe, CT; a granddaughter Rachel M. Lapierre of Philadelphia, PA and nephews and nieces. Mrs. Lapierre was born in Webster, MA daughter of the late Oliver and Ida (Forand) Billings.
Rita worked for Chevalier Furniture Company in Worcester as a secretary retiring in 1982 and previously worked for the Waterhouse Company in Webster. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 11, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 600 Cambridge Street Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 AM in the funeral home before the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
