Mario P. Poto, III of Derry, NH formerly of Medford and Stoneham died Monday at Brigham and Women's Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 37.

Mario was raised in Medford and Stoneham and graduated from Tewksbury High School with the class of 1988. He worked with his family’s company, Mario’s Classic Mirror and Glass, as a glass glazier for most of his life. For several years he had his own firm, Tri-State Mirror and Glass which operated out of New Hampshire. Mario was a dedicated father who loved spend his free time camping and hunting with his son.

He was the loving father of Rome Poto of Auburn, NH. He was the cherished son of Mario and Lenora (Terramagra) Poto of Stoneham. He was a beloved brother to Rose-Marie Gifford of Salem, NH. He was a devoted nephew of Louis Terramagra of NH, Mary and Al Medugno of Woburn, Elaine Frick of Tewksbury, Steven and Denise Poto of Cody, Wyoming. He was the dear uncle of Rebecca and Sarah and is also survived by many cousins.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
