Obituary

Wilfred J. “Willie” Arsenault Jr., 71, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice house in Reading on July 2nd, 2008. He was born in Malden on March 11th, 1937 to his parents Wilfred J. and Elizabeth (Chisolm) Arsenault. Willy has been a life long resident of Malden. He is a graduate of the Cheverus School in Malden, Malden Vocational High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. For more than 30 years, he owned and operated WJA Machine in Malden. He is a member of the National Rifle Association and a former member of the German Club in Malden. Wilfred is survived by his wife, Eileen R. (Carroll) Arsenault; his children, Joseph Arsenault and his wife Amie of Westford, Jean McDermott and her husband Dan of Tewksbury, David Arsenault of Malden, and Stephen Arsenault and his wife Brenda of Malden; his sisters, Joan Crowley of New Albany, Indiana and Carol Lopez of Melrose; and by his grandchildren Justin, Casey, Jarrett, Kylie, Liam, Brady, Jake Patrick, Amber and Stephen Jr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends. Along with his parents, Wilfred was predeceased by his brother John Arsenault. Relatives & friends are invited to attend services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Tuesday July 8th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 7th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the VNA of Middlesex-East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
