Henry E. Boisvert,age 84, of Cape Coral, FL, beloved husband of Louise H. (Bellefeuille) Boisvert and father of Ellen (Boisvert) Michael died April 21st , 2008.
Henry was born on April 23, 1923 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the 9th of 12 children born to Arthur and Mabel Boisvert.
Henry resided in Wilmington, Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire before moving with his family to Florida in 2006. A veteran of WWII, he served as a field medic with the Army’s 38th Infantry Division, Medical Detachment 151st Infantry Regiment in the Pacific theatre. Henry was a longtime employee of the former Wang Laboratories prior to his retirement in 1983.
Henry was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Coppens Council in Tewksbury, MA, where he volunteered at the weekly bingo game for more than 20 years. He will be remembered for his eternal optimism, tireless sense of humor, and generous spirit.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by his son-in-law, Ron Michael, of Cape Coral, FL, a grandson, Brian Michael, of Derry, NH, a granddaughter, Nicole Michael, of Fort Collins, CO, one brother, Arthur Boisvert, of Chatanooga, TN, one sister, Dorothy Hand, of Vermont, a brother-in-law and his wife, Thomas and Patricia Bellefeuille, of Dracut, MA, a sister-in-law and her husband, Margaret and Ted Reed, of Largo, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Henry also raised a son, Robert E. Boisvert.
Arrangements in Florida are being handled by Fuller Funeral Home of Cape Coral. Burial arrangements by Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home of Salem, NH will be announced by the family at a later date.
