Devoted mother of Pam (Shanbar) Croen and her husband Fred of Breinigsville, PA, and Beth Lee and her husband Alan of Arvada, CO. Born in Medford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Fannie (Thacher) Lucas. Dear grandmother of Julie (Shanbar) Lewis of Winthrop, Tom Shanbar of Revere, and Christine Carson and Jon Lee of Arvada, CO. Loving great-grandmother “Grandy” to Donny, Rachel, T.J., Ethan, Joshua, and Katie. Sister of Arthur J.H. Lucas of Sandwich, Fred M.K. Lucas of Henderson, NV, and the late Melbourne T. Lucas, Henry B.M. Lucas, Florence M. Smith, Lutie S. Murphy, and Rita T. Sarlund. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. A Funeral Service will take place at the Union Congregational Church 22 Tewksbury St. Winthrop on Fri April 18, at 10am. Please go directly to church.
