Kathleen M. Hagerty, age 52, of Jesup, passed away February 7, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Ohio native had lived in Jesup the past 7 months and was a member of the Westside Church of God. She was a great, loving and devoted aunt.
Surviving is her sister-in-law: Jane Strickland and fiancé Rodney Wood of Jesup; four nieces: Kendra Woolard and husband Scott of Brunswick, Kayla Strickland of Tarboro, Leanne Strickland of Tarboro, and Nicole Walker and fiancé Devon Carter of Kingsland; one nephew: Nicholas and wife Gwen Rowell of Hortense; two great-nephews Michael Strickland and Edward Rowell; two great-nieces: Cheyanne Rowell and Suzanne Rowell and other family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Westside Church of God with Reverend Elaine Hamilton and Reverend Claude Bowem officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. from the NeSmith Room of Howard~Jones~Nobles Funeral Home.
