BELLEVILLE, MI—Aracelis Toledo Roberts, 48 years old, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 29th, at St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Milwaukee, WI. She was the wife of Richard H. Roberts, who survives her.
She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on April 12, 1959, a daughter of Jose Ramon Toledo and Olga Iris Gonzalez, both of Lowell. She was a graduate of Lowell High School and the University of Lowell.
Ms. Roberts worked as a Principal Computer Consultant for Business Objects, in Michigan, for the past 5 years, and was known by many of her fellow workers as the ‘Sun Queen’.
Surviving her besides her husband and parents are thirteen brothers and sisters: Olga M. Nieves, of Ipswich, NH; Myriam S. Joga, of Gouldsboro, PA; Jose Ramon Toledo, of Madison, SD; Luis E. Toledo, of Milford, NH; Dalma I. Colon, of Manchester, NH; Noraida Toledo, of Pelham, NH; Noraide T. Haney, of Londonderry, NH; Maria M. Pecoraro, of Quincy; Gerardo Toledo, of Derry, NH; Reinaldo I. Toledo, of Gardner; Jose L. Toledo, of San Diego, CA; Maria L. Amaral, of Derry, NH; and Gloria M. Luhan, of Gainsville, VA. She was the favorite aunt to 23 nieces and nephews.
She went by the name “Muñeca”, nickname “Ñeca”, translation “doll”, and she certainly lived up to her name.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, December 4th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered at 10 AM on Wednesday, December 5th, at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery.
