Veronica Lewicki, of Olyphant, Pa., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 12 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1989.
Veronica was the daughter of the late Tessie and Vincent Sczesniak of Olyphant. Affectionately known as Babci, she loved to sew, bake and travel any chance she got. She was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church in Dickson City and belonged to the Jessup Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her children, John Lewicki and wife, Lynn, of Nazareth, Pa.; and Ann Marie Dodgson and husband, Brian, of Olyphant; and granddaughters, Jessica, Marissa, Margaret and Marina.
She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Sczesniak and his wife, Peggy; her cousin, Teresa Komar; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary and Valerie; and brothers Henry, Edward and Lawrence.
Funeral services will be Friday with Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City.
Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant.
