Samuel N. "Sammy" Mondesir
WAYLAND: Samuel N. “Sammy” Mondesir, age 5 1/2, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 12, 2018 from complications due to bronchial asthma.
He was born in Boston on January 13, 2013 the son of Emilienne “Emilie” Cadiche of Wayland and Jean-Marie Mondesir of Ottawa, Canada.
Besides his parents, Sammy is survived by his Godmother and cousin Daphnee Piou of Wayland and his Godfathers and cousins Noah Piou of Wayland and Herby Raymond of NY. He is survived by several other cousins Hansy Piou of VA; Tony Michel of NY; David Michel of Boston; Randy Raymond of NY; Asa Cadiche of NY; McClean Brisseau and Derrick Brisseau both of VA. He was the nephew of Emose Piou of Wayland; Yolette Cadiche Raphael of MA; Yvrose Raymond of FL; Marcia Gordon of MA; Bernadette Bonne Annee of VA; Jean-Eugene Piou of Wayland; William Cadiche of NY; Herve Raymond of FL; Henry Raphael of MA and Evens Mondesir of MA. He was the great-nephew of Ivina Julien of Wayland. Also survived by his sisters Phalandia Mondesir and Cynthia Mondesir both of Canada.
Sammy was a student at the Veritas Christian Academy of Wayland and was a loving and warm child who loved to play soccer and was eager to learn. He loved to sing Christian songs and play the piano. With his family, he was a member at Trinitarian Congregational Church where he participated in all the children’s programs. He would light up a room with his beautiful smile and was loving and outgoing and embraced life to its fullest. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving, caring and active little boy.
Visitations will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rte. 30), Wayland.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 9:00 o’clock at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Road (Rte. 27), Wayland.
Interment will follow in North Cemetery, Wayland.
