Alesa F. (Frazee) Wheeler
NATICK: Alesa Anne (Frazee) Wheeler, 66, died peacefully and comfortably with her husband by her side and surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 following a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Chelsea the daughter of Clifford Frazee, Sr of Norfolk and the late Kathleen P. (Carter) Frazee.
Alesa was the beloved wife for 39 years of Parker N. “Chip” Wheeler, Jr. of Natick. She was the step-mother of Colleen Wheeler McCreary and her husband Andrew McCreary and their son Cooper John McCreary all of Hillsborough, CA. Sister of Betsy J. Hammel and her husband Clifford Hammel of Natick; Cynthia Holly Frazee of Blackstone; Timothy M. Frazee of Marlborough and Clifford Frazee, Jr. and his wife Linda Frazee of Natick. She also leaves her cousins Amy and Laura Panella both of Framingham as well as several other cousins, nieces, nephews and her special friends Joe Pescatore and Cynthia Capone both of Natick.
Alesa has been a lifelong resident of Natick and graduated from Natick High School with the Class of 1970. In her earlier years, she was a floral designer with Fraser Florists in Wellesley Hills. Prior to her retirement due to her illness, she was a Supervisor in Marketing Research with IDG of Framingham.
She loved all animals and is also survived by her devoted dog Chloe. Alesa also enjoyed spending time on the coast of Maine, especially at Old Orchard Beach with her husband Parker. She enjoyed many hours of gardening at her Natick residence and time spent with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial Visitations will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rte 30), Wayland.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to Alesa’s Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 44 East Main Street (Rte.135), Natick.
Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick.
