Ruth Elaine (Yerden) Albright, 76, of Anderson, passed away June 16, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Anderson.
She was born on a farm in Allegan, MI, the daughter of Elmer William and Adah Maude (Crabtree) Yerden. She worked as an administrative assistant with the Anderson Community Schools in the 1970-80's. She was a member of Park Place Church of God and member of the Truthfinders Sunday School Class. She served on the board of Meadowbrook Manor Condominiums. She was always active in the kitchen of the various churches her husband pastored, creator of worship centers, children's choir leader and children's community theater. Her hobbies included traveling, camping and framing.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor John L. Albright, 2 children; Jay (Angela) Albright of Minneapolis, and Brad (Mindy) Albright of Muncie; 4 grandchildren; Samuel Atticus Albright, Abraham Sebastian Albright, Brandon(Desa Rae) Williams, and Lindsi (Chris) Davis; 7 great grandchildren, a brother, Paul E. (Mary) Yerden of Arizonia.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Carlile and a sister in law, Rita Jo Yerden.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Park Place Church of God, officiated by Rev. Evie Orick. Friends may visit with the family in the Bessie Byrum Lounge at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Caldwell Peace Endowed Fund, c/o Anderson University, 1100 E. 5th Street, Anderson, IN 46012.
