Carolyn J. Merrill, 85, of Indianapolis, died May 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, following an unexpected illness.
She was born on November 13, 1932 in Anderson. She was the daughter of Oscar W. Easter and Mary Ann (Clark) Easter. She was a homemaker and was active in Anderson Lions Club serving as a Past President and Governor.
She is survived by her children, Robert E. (wife Patti) Merrill Jr. of Indianapolis, Tim (Vickie) Merrill of Amarillo, TX and Teresa Merrill of Anderson; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Rensel of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Merrill Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 12 Noon at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service, 229 South Rangeline Road, Anderson. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions maybe given to the Alzheimer's Association.
