King, Donald Albert, 74, beloved husband and father, passed away on May 10, 2018. Don lived his entire life in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Flaget High School in 1962 and United Electronics Institute in 1964. He worked in the manufacturing, insurance, and telecommunications industries, and was a retired
draftsman from AT&T/BellSouth. Throughout his life, he was an avid artist, designer, and woodworker, and he created many beautiful works of art and pieces of furniture for his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis King and Henry and Rose Lupberger. He is survived by Frances, his loving wife of 53 years; son Don (Maggie); daughter Donnell (Jason); grandchildren Quintin, Abby, Keegan, Ashly, Tiffany, and Jeramy; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm, Tuesday, May 15 th at Owen Funeral Home at 9318 Taylorsville Road. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, May 16 th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church at 5503 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow at
Resthaven Memorial Park at 4400 Bardstown Road. Memorials may be given to Kosair Charities.
