Steven Daniel Rumfelt, age 35, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born September 22, 1982 in Memphis, TN to Fred Raymond Rumfelt and Joey Annette Waddell Simpson and was self-employed in construction work. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Steven was baptized in the faith of Christ and was a Baptist.
The family will be having a memorial service in his honor at a later date. Steven is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rumfelt of Water Valley, MS; three daughters, Megan Hillegas, Breanna Hillegas and Destiny Schmitz, all of Water Valley, MS; a son, Logan Rumfelt of Water Valley, MS; three sisters, Jeannie Carter, Ginger (Danny) McCreless, and Carmen Rumfelt, all of Slayden, MS; three brothers, Tad (Katie) Rumfelt of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Robert (Amy) Allen of Slayden, MS, and Kelly Allen Waddell of TX; his father, Fred (Brenda) Rumfelt of Lamar, MS; his mother, Joey (Dale) Simpson of Water Valley, MS; four nephews, five nieces, two aunts, and two uncles. | ||||
