Mary Ann Antonik, 79, of Olyphant, died Monday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Her husband, Michael Antonik, died in 2010.

Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Kuruc Spegar, she was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant and was employed for many years at CSI Casket Manufacturing. She enjoyed, cooking, reading, gardening and crocheting.

Surviving are a son, James, at home; two daughters, Judy Keyasko and Janice Antonik, both of Olyphant; three grandchildren, Brianna Barbour and husband, Derek, of San Antonio, Texas; Stephen Keyasko and Melissa Taramelli, both of Olyphant; a sister, Mildred Szwejkowski of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, William of Blakely; and Daniel of Scott Twp.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen; and a sister, Frances M. Rencevicz.

Funeral services will be Saturday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
