Karla J. Stefanik, Dickson City, passed away Friday, March 16.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Michael and the late Dollie Bretz Stefanik. She was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents. Karla was a graduate of Valley View High School and attended Lackawanna College. She was employed for many years in customer service.

Surviving are a sister, Kimberlee Nackley and husband, George, Clarks Summit, Pa.; a niece, Georgia Nackley, New York City; a nephew, Ryan Nackley, Clarks Summit; an aunt, Melody; uncles, Douglas and wife, Dolly Bretz; Karl Bretz, Rick and wife, Linda Bretz; and cousins.

Karla was an outgoing and fun loving person. She enjoyed travel, golf and spending time with family and friends. She had a great love for her pets and was involved with animal rescue. She was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, Pa. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, Mondale, Pa. Friends may call Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m. Please visit www.glinskyfuneralhome.com.
