George Moran, 68, of Litchfield, NH, died Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was born in Methuen, MA on April 27, 1949, the son of Dennis and Julia (Tahan) Moran. He grew up in Salem, NH prior to moving to Windham and Litchfield. George owned and operated a highly successful construction business in Southern NH and was well known for his work ethic. He was an avid outdoors-man who loved to hike and take fishing and camping trips with his children.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen (Sirois) Moran; two sons, Dennis Moran and wife Heidi of Newton, NH; Peter Moran and wife Emily of Amherst, NH; daughter, Kathryn (KC) Moran and her significant other, Frederic Lusky of Merrimack, NH; grandson, Declan Moran; sister, Eileen Druchniak and husband Robert of Sonoita, AZ and several nieces and nephews. George is predeceased by his sisters Denise Scott and Beverly Weed.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH.
