WAYLAND: Gail Ann (Doucette) Landry, 73, died on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham following a period of declining health.
She was born in Lincoln, Maine on July 13, 1944 the daughter of the late Ronald C. Doucette and Catherine M. (Albert) Doucette.
She was the loving wife for 51 years of Clarence E. Landry of Wayland. Devoted mother of Ronald C. Landry of Wayland, Neil E. Landry of Bangor, Maine, Eugene M. Landry of Wayland and Rene Landry Martel of Wayland. Beloved grandmother of Emily and Olivia Landry of Bangor, Maine.
She spent her earlier years in Maine and at the age of 7 moved with her family to Newton and then resided in Natick for several years. She graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in Newton and in July of 1966, she and Clarence were married. She has been a resident of Wayland for the past 47 years.
Gail was devoted to her family and enjoyed all the times spent with them at her home and for special events in their lives. She loved to knit, crochet and take ceramic classes with the girls in her neighborhood. She also has an extensive collection of dolls that she has acquired over the years.
Visitations will be held on Friday, February, 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rte. 30), Wayland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main St (Rte. 27), Wayland.
Interment in the Landry family lot in Lakeview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
