Theresa Novak, Olyphant, died Saturday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Anna and Michael Petrilla Novak, she was a graduate of Dickson City High School and was employed by Lockheed Martin before retirement. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish. Theresa was also a Eucharistic minister at Holy Ghost Church. She started a devotion to the Blessed Mother by organizing a group of women to say the rosary on a monthly basis.

The family would like to thank the staff at Allied Services and Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

She is survived by two sisters, Agnes Swetz and Helen Doyle, both of Connecticut; a brother, Michael and wife, Rita, Dickson City; several godchildren, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Cyril, George and Joseph; and sisters, Mary Bunk, Dorothy Novak, Margaret Drake and Ann Novak.

Funeral services will be Wednesday with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish, Delaware Street, Olyphant. Interment, SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Peckville.

Friends may call 9 a.m. to service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18510.
