Obituary




Miriam M. Rosado, 61, of Worcester died Sunday, August 13th in UMASS Memorial Hospital – University Campus. She leaves two sons, Walter Rosado of Worcester and Freddy Ramos of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Rafael Rosado of Springfield; three sisters, Hilda Pabon of Worcester, Luisa Havemann of Forest Hills, NY and Millie Dorfman of Sacramento, CA; a granddaughter, Priscilla Rosado; a great grandson, Martin Rosa and several nieces and nephews including, Mildred, Norberto, Delvia, Edwin and Nelson.
She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico the daughter of Alejandro and Eloisa (Rodriguez) Rosado. Miriam worked as a legal assistant with Glickman, Sugarman, Kneeland and Gribouski for the last 10 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Providence Parish at St. Bernard’s Church. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, shopping and dancing. Miriam was a great cook who was known for her Red Velvet Cakes and Sweet Potato Pies.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM with a service at 7:30 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
