Albert Edward Still, Jr., age 73, died August 4, 2017 at his home in Water Valley, MS with his wife, Ann, by his side. He was born March 21, 1944 to the late Dorothy Roberta French and Albert Edward Still, Sr. in Columbus, Ohio and joined the United States Navy, retiring after twenty plus years. Albert served on the USS Enterprise and several other ships during his tenure. He enjoyed fishing during his spare time, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yalobusha County.
Visitation is planned for Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until service time. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Owen Riddick officiating. Buster Jackson will offer the eulogy. Burial will be in the Womble family plot in Bethel Cemetery. Albert is survived by his wife, Ann Womble Still of Water Valley, MS; one daughter, Bonita Marie Still of Columbus, OH; two cousins, Larry (Suzie) Snow, and Mary Louise Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Butch Still. | ||||
