Susan Jane (LaForest) Monahan, 75, of Worcester, formerly of Millbury, died on Friday, July 28, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital, after a long illness. She is survived by her daughter Debra C. Monahan of Millbury; two sisters, Priscilla Fenning and her husband Robert and Cynthia Bruce; sister-in-law Lucille Westberg; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Frederick E. LaForest and brother-in-law Ralph Bruce. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of Frederick J. and Alice (Smith) LaForest.
Mrs. Monahan worked as a waitress for many years at the International House of Pancakes in Shrewsbury. After retirement, she enjoyed watching tennis, shopping, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
