Steve G. Malakas, 72, passed away July 31, 2017.
He was an Army veteran of Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division and had retired from River City Distributors.
Steve is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda C. Malakas; children, Albert McFarland, George S. Malakas (Heather) and Kelli A. Wimsatt (Thomas); three grandchildren, Ryan Malakas (Hayley), Amanda Malakas and Steve Malakas; and good friend Joyce, and his pride and joy Lexi.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery, Central at a later date.
Visitation will be Thursday at 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
