DERRY, NH/SPENCER; Vivian H. (Daoust) Mondor of Derry, NH passed away on Friday June 23, 2017 at the age of 94.
Vivian was born in Spencer, Massachusetts on January 23, 1923, daughter of Rene’ and Marie Daoust. Vivian grew up in Spencer where she met her husband of 60 years Roland Mondor. Vivian resided in Spencer before relocating to Atkinson, NH in 1972 and eventually Derry, NH in 2008.
Vivian enjoyed life and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking walks and enjoyed knitting, dancing, bowling, and the Red Sox. She enjoyed New Hampshire and traveling to Florida during the winter. Vivian was an active member of St. Mary’s of Spencer MA. and St. Anne’s Parish in Hampstead NH for many years.
Vivian is predeceased by her husband Roland and her son Mark Mondor. She is survived by her five children Steven Mondor and his wife Maureen of Hyannis MA., Anne Gregoire and her husband Francis of Hooksett NH, Francis Mondor of Atkinson NH, Kenneth Mondor of Merrimack NH, Roger Mondor and his wife Tammy of Amherst NH, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 27 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer, MA. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Services, Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Sothern New Hampshire, 1070 Holt Ave., Suite 1400, Manchester, NH 03109.
