Barbara J. (Saulnier) Davis, age 86, formerly of Somerville, MA, died after an illness on May 23, 2017 in her adopted home of Mesa, AZ. She was the wife of the late Frederick Davis.
She is survived by her nine beloved children, Andrew of SC, Paul of AZ, Thomas of NH, James of MA, Philip of AZ, John of AZ, Mark of GA, Linda Lynch of MA and Kathi Downing of MA. She was the sister of Pauline Parillo and Maurice Saulnier, both of MA along with the late Richard, Henry, Harvey, Donald, Paul, Bertha Flynn, Margaret Warren, Shirley Acord and Catherine Marchetti. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Barbara worked at Bradlees in Somerville before retiring to Mesa, AZ in 1999. She enjoyed her retirement in the desert by going to the casino and playing the slot machines and bingo. She will be missed by her Dobson Ranch neighbors and friends.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the Church at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St, Hudson, MA immediately followed by a reception and time of remembrance from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
