WORCESTER___Veronica M. (Kasper) Borezo, 83, of Worcester, passed away with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Her husband Aleck C. Borezo died in 1996. She is survived by a son, Mark Borezo and his wife Doreen of Charlton; daughters, Donna Alarie and her husband Mark of Rutland, Paula O’Connor and her husband Gerald of Princeton, and Linda Tourville and her husband Rick of Sterling; sister Rita Fleming of North Grafton; eight grandchildren, Daniel and Bryan Borezo, Nicole Alarie, Aiden, Ryan and Jack O’Connor, Madison and Cameron Tourville; many nieces and nephews. One of eleven children, she was born in Worcester a daughter of John and Agatha (Kacevich) Kasper.
Mrs. Borezo worked as a sales clerk for Honey Farms, Inc. for several years prior to retiring. Previously she worked at State Mutual Life Insurance Company. She graduated from the former Commerce High School. A lifelong New York Yankees fan she enjoyed watching the games and was also a bingo fan. Proud of her Lithuanian heritage, she shared her culture with her family and grandchildren which were her joy and life treasure.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Laura’s Guardian Angels and VNA Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of their mother.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
