Suneela Dandekar passed away by a sudden illness on May 3, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Married to Balkrishna (Sham) Dandekar, of Westboro, MA for 58 years. Cherished mother of daughter Anjali Dziadio of South Hadley, MA and son Shirish Dandekar and his wife Asha Sherring of Hopkinton, MA. Loving grandmother to Heema (Nicole) and Corey Dziadzio and Gitanjali and Rajkumar Dandekar. She also leaves many loving sisters, Mrs Vijaya Gokhale, Mrs Malati Apte, Mrs Saroj Joshi, Mrs Pushpa Kale, Mrs Kunda Pendse and her brother Mr Madhusudan Limaye (deceased) and many nieces and nephews in the US and India.
Suneela (Kumudini Jagannath Limaye ) was born in Mumbai, India. Grew up and was educated in Ratnagiri, India. She received her BS from Boston State College and her MS from Simmons College. She worked as the librarian at Roxbury Community College for 15 years. Her interests included drama, reading and playing bridge.
