James Geary Phillips, 68, entered into rest on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Warrenton Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park
.
Mr. Phillips was a veteran of the Army reserves. He was employed for many years at Kimberly Clark, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his daughters; Lynn Brooks (Jerry) and Robin Kersey, his mother; Gertrude Phillips, his brother; Ray Phillips, his grandchildren; Ronnie Pelham, Randy Pelham, Sandra Pelham and Brandon Kersey, as well as his six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; James William Phillips.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday evening, April 16, 2017.
