Obituary

SPENCER: Paul R. Lapierre, Sr. 78 of Salem St., died Thursday, April 13 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He was the husband of Elizabeth L. (Normandin) Lapierre who died in 1997. He leaves his son Paul R. Lapierre, Jr., his daughter LuAnn J. Lapierre and her partner Patrick Malvey, his grandson Jonathan P. Lapierre, sisters Lorette Pechie and Jeannette Smith all of Spencer and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters.
Paul was a machinist at Reed Rolled Thread & Die Co. in Holden for over 30 years, retiring in 1997.
Born in Spencer, he was the son of Edgar J. and Lillian R. (Thibodeau) Lapierre. He was a charter member of the Spencer Rescue Squad, a former member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club and was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing & hunting. He was an antique engine and motorcycle enthusiast.
At his request, no funeral services are planned. Burial in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer will be at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
