Obituary

Worcester – Sandra J. Belanger, 58, of Worcester died on Tuesday, April 4th in her home after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Sandra is survived by her two sisters, Tracey Marie Belanger - Brooks and Caroline E. “Keri” Belanger and her partner, Christine Mallett; 10 nieces and nephews, Brandan Belanger, Sean Brooks, Amanda Steina, T.J. Steina, Tre Brooks, Christian Brooks, Meshia Brooks, Jayce Barrette, Aybel Belanger and Violet
Sandra was born in Framingham, daughter of Donald and Caroline (Mason) Belanger. Her mother, Caroline passed away on March 3, 2017.
Sandra graduated from Auburn High School and later attended Mills College and graduated Phi Bata Kappa in 2003. She worked for many years as a paramedic for both the City of Oakland, CA and San Francisco, CA and was well known and greatly loved for her outstanding and hard work in the EVP field.
Sandra lived an adventurous life that brought her to Africa, Indonesia, and Mexico where she embraced and lived with the local communities while doing humanitarian work. She enjoyed traveling and held her pilots license for many years. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her African Grey Parrot “Horus”, which she had for 18 years and taught to speak the Chinese language.
Family and friends are invited to join the family on Monday, April 17 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street from 5:30 to 7:30PM to celebrate the life of Sandra.
