Obituary

WEBSTER- Joanna (Busheme) Guyon, 70, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at home after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 33 years, George A. Guyon; a son, John P. and his wife Ellen Rindone of Douglas; 2 grandchildren, Lucas and Isabelle; a brother, Paul and his wife Linda Busheme of Walpole; a sister, Rose and her husband Nino Salvucci of Palm Coast, FL; several nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Revere, the youngest child of Paul and Anna (Aliberti) Busheme. She lived in Walpole, Brighton and Norfolk before moving to Webster in 2014. She graduated from Revere High School.

Mrs. Guyon was an executive assistant at the Wyatt Company in Wellesley. She was then a marketing assistant at Hollingsworth & Vose Company in Walpole, retiring in 2008.

She was an active member of Life Church. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife; she doted on her grandchildren and cherished her family with all her heart. Joanna always thought of others before herself. Everyone who knew her benefitted from her tremendous generosity and loving care. Joanna had a flair for décor and intuitive style that made every place brighter. Her death will leave a huge void.

The family would like to thank the staff at Harrington Cancer Center in Southbridge, especially her oncologist Dr. Christopher Seidler and her nurse Jerry.

The funeral will held Monday, April 3, at 10:00 AM in Life Church, 1 Nelson Street, Webster, with Pastor Shannon Canoy officiating. Entombment will be at 12:30 PM in Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 175 Broadway, Malden. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 2, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Donations in her name may be made to Life Church, 1 Nelson Street, Webster, MA 01570.
