Frank M. Pellegrino
3/28/2017

Frank M. Pellegrino, of Beverly, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28th at the Beverly Hospital. He was 77.

Born the youngest of eight in South Boston, he was the son of the late Matteo and Guiseppa “Josephine” (Gandolfa) Pellegrino. Frank and his family lived in various north of Boston communities. He graduated from Arlington High School which propelled him into Bentley College where he received his degree in accounting.

Out of College, Frank started his career at Lechmere Sales where he rose to manager of the data processing department. During that time he relentlessly pursued and eventually captured the love of his life, his wife Carol. He then advanced onto Beckwith Elevator Company as an Accountant/ Office Manager.

Frank and Carol started their family in West Medford where they thrived for almost 40 years. During that time, through much sacrifice and hard work, they secured and held onto their dream of a summer home on the Cape. Five generations have and continue to live, laugh and love there with cherished neighbors who became extended family for over 40 years and counting. Frank worked hard to always make sure he provided for his family....passing on his love of God and instilling values and morals through his loving example in word and deed and made sure all four children finished college debt-free as well!

The man's passions were his family, friends and good food. He loved socializing while playing cards, bocce, fishing and, of course, eating a great meal. The highlight of his summers were swimming and quohogging at Lewis Bay with all of his family and friends around him.

Frank enjoyed traveling with his wife to many US destinations and abroad. He especially enjoyed his vacations with his entire family on the Cape, Outer Banks, North Carolina, and various cruises.

Frank's heart swelled with love and pride with the addition of each of his four grandchildren, his "Golden Child" Kristen, his beloved pride and joys : Matthew, Jack and Luke ....coming to a crescendo with the birth of his final gift ...great-granddaughter Talia, aka "Italia".

Frank's medical conditions may have hampered his step and breath but could not touch his heart and soul, where his family dwelled. We all aspire to emulate his legacy and instill his values in future generations, thereby making the world a better place by his example.

A famous man is one whose family loves him. Frank was famous beyond measure. Never has a man been more loved!

Our cup overflow-ith with thanks to God for blessing us with this precious man.

Pellegrino Jr. and his wife Colleen of Boxford, Debra M. Pellegrino and her boyfriend David of Lowell, Linda A. Bowden and her husband Michael of Danvers, and Lori A. Pellegrino of Revere.
