Carol Jean (Mikolajczyk) DiLeo, 59, of Millbury passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital, 123 Summer St. She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Damian DiLeo. She also leaves her mother, Virginia Mikolajczyk of Worcester; sister Janine Stuczko and her husband Edward of Oxford and their children Stephanie and Brandon; mother-in-law, Helen DiLeo; sisters in law, Annette Pettis and her husband Dennis and children, Christopher and Gregory, Helen Wesloski and her husband James and children Neil and Meredith; brother-in-law Joseph DiLeo; and many friends. She is predeceased by her father Joseph Mikolajczyk.
Born in Worcester, Mrs. DiLeo graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Worcester and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Alongside her husband Damie, she managed “Liberty Heights” Cafe in Millbury. An avid reader, she also enjoyed cross-word puzzles.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Vincent Wellness Center, for their kind and compassionate care afforded Carol and her family.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 am in HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
