Obituary

DUDLEY – Leo C. Pacher, Jr., 72, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife of almost 45 years, Nancy J. (Kuzdzal) Pacher; 4 children, Leo R. Pacher and his wife Elizabeth “Betsy” Pacher of Davidsonville, MD, Keith A. Pacher and his wife Bonnie Pacher of Baldwinville, Crystal I. Allard and her fiancé Daniel Stevens of Charlton, and Tiffany J. Pacher, also of Charlton; 6 grandchildren, Corey Pacher, Cameron Allard, Charlie Pacher, Carissa Allard, Katherine Pacher and Caylianna Pacher; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Irene Farquhar and Beatrice Carroll.

He was born and raised in Webster, the son of Leo C. Pacher, Sr. and Irene J. (Gancy) Pacher and graduated from Saint Louis High School in 1962. He had lived in Dudley since 1976.

Mr. Pacher was employed by Anglo Fabrics Company as a loom programmer and then as a supervisor for over 20 years. He was a machine operator at Lucent Technologies in Sturbridge before retiring. He then worked part-time as a receiver at Park ‘N’ Shop in Auburn.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster. His family, especially his grandchildren, was his treasure.

The funeral will be held Saturday, March 11, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 E. Main St., Webster. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, March 10, in the funeral home.
